Port Vale have confirmed that five academy players have departed on loan to gain experience in non-league football. The club announced the temporary moves for Keaton Moseley, Joe Williams, Clayton Malbon, Miracle Orisakwe, and Eddie Lake.

Academy Head Danny Lloyd stated his pride in the players' progress. He remarked that seeing all five secure loans reflects the dedication and growth of the players, as well as the backing from the Academy staff.

The loan destinations

Miracle Orisakwe, who participated in pre-season with the senior team and went to Spain, will play for Southport FC. Defender Eddie Lake, who debuted for the first team last season, has moved to Stourbridge FC.

Joe Williams, who signed a pro deal following his first academy year, has joined Lower Breck FC. Scholars Keaton Moseley and Clayton Malbon will both feature for Kidsgrove Athletic.

Lloyd highlighted the value of consistent match action for development. He noted each player has a chance to acquire experience and keep improving in a competitive setting, with the Academy monitoring their progress.

The loans occur while the senior team aims to better its standing. The club anticipates these moves will benefit future squad building.

The players are set to stay with their loan clubs for the season.
